Kuwait Airways’ fleet has taken another step towards its transformation strategy with the arrival of its first Airbus A321neo aircraft.
The aircraft, 9K-AQA (msn 12345), named AL-Mutlaa, features 166 seats, comprising 16 Business Class and 150 Economy in the Airspace cabin. It is the first of nine of the type on order.
It was delivered direct from Toulouse to Kuwait City on 14 May, and is expected to enter service on the airline’s route network later this week.
The A321neo complements Kuwait Airways’ existing A320neo and A330neo fleet, enabling greater flexibility and operational efficiency across its network. The range and capacity of the A321neo makes it ideally suited for regional and medium-haul routes, including seasonal services to South Asian and European destinations.
